Hey. It's me. Kelly. The author of this site, and now *proud owner* of an online blog.
The last time I wrote a blog it was on LiveJournal.com. Remember them? I'm sure I have many years of dramatic teen angst documented on those pages. Please don't google it. I have no idea what's in there. Well somewhere between starting that blog in the year 2000 and today I subconsciously have come to feel that blogs are like a mobius strip. They don't have a beginning, and they don't have an end.
It's just a consistently glorious (one can hope, right?) stream of brilliance. Somehow both relevant to a point in the time and also for the future masses. Oh and everyone says it helps with site traffic and SEO, so that must be good too.
But anyway. I thought a consistently glorious stream of brilliance that is helpful to my people and to my SEO sounded pretty good, so I decided I should have one. I'm going to try it out.
There's lots of good stuff to come. Stuff about marketing, and how it's a weird and (honestly) mostly effed up system that I've somehow gotten wrapped up in for the last 15 years. I understand how it works and how it can benefit all of us and how we can use it without becoming emotionally bankrupt, or contribute to the toxic advertising culture we're all living in. There will be stuff in here about branding, and why it's important. It's important for businesses, products, people...all of us. I have a lot to say about that. And I'll dribble in some templates and some useful resources I've collected and made over the years because I love to share and maybe you'll find them helpful too.
But I don't have splashy start.
